SCOPE

Affordable Senior Housing Renovation

St. Elizabeth Manor, a four-story residential building for seniors located in Staten Island, is undergoing crucial repairs and improvements to transform it into an energy-efficient, healthy, and comfortable living space for its current residents. The scope of the renovation includes upgrading the building envelope by cladding over a deteriorating brick facade, providing essential weather protection, and enhancing insulation throughout the structure.

In anticipation of New York City’s local Law 97 requirements, the outdated space heating system, which has reached the end of its useful life, is being replaced with individual heat pump systems installed in every apartment.

Furthermore, all apartments will undergo extensive renovations to enhance the accessibility of the bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring that every resident can enjoy a safe and convenient living environment.

These comprehensive upgrades aim not only to meet the immediate needs of the residents but also to future-proof St. Elizabeth Manor, making it a sustainable and inclusive community for years to come.
