Supportive Housing Preservation

551 Warren is a 68-unit supportive housing building completed in 2001 located in the Boerum Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. The renovation project is Phase 1 of a LIHTC Preservation Year 15 program to ensure the future financial and physical viability of the site while preserving long-term affordability. Following the recommendations of the integrated property needs assessment, the renovations in this phase are focused on immediate needs for mechanical repairs and upgrades, along with aging-in-place retrofits to ensure a safe and more comfortable living environment for the existing and future residents. Phase 1 is anticipated to begin construction in summer/fall of 2024.
